If you have a good deal lined up to buy an ex-rental model from a tour operator or even an un-sited new mobile home from a dealer you may be able to buy your way on to a site by purchasing an old private van then immediately replacing it with your nice new one. Ripe for this kind of deal are mobile homes that have exceeded the site age limit and so are effectively worthless.
