Mobile homes for sale in France

Mobile Homes for sale in the Languedoc

Summer and ski jobs in France

Languedoc is a big favorite with many France visitors and mobile home purchasers. Running up the coast through Perpignan to about Nimes and the Lozere Languedoc is diverse, still reasonably cheap and absolutely fascinating.

Argeles and the mountains are covered in the Pyrenees section, from here North the landscape goes through marshland, sandy coastline, limestone and granite peaks of Mont Lozere. The concentration of campsites is highest in the south by the coast of course but there are lots of hidden little gems throughout the region.

The interior around Carcassone and Limoux is largely jaggy sandstone hills with Cathar forts and Spanish style Catalan villages. The sites around here are very relaxed, low on facilities but huge on character and charm. Canvas Holiday Homes sell onto a couple of great little sites here. The Northern interior is a lot like the Scottish Highlands (Haut Languedoc – Lozere and Aveyron).

The sites here are very sparse and are mainly farmers fields but if you really want to make your mobile home buying interesting this is the place to do it. Even going to have a look is worth it, we recommend going up to Le Pont de Montvert (there are two sites here but access for a mobile might be tight) and exploring the Cevennes National park. In between these areas world famous rivers like the Tarn cut large Gorges on their way to the Med or Atlantic (the Lozere Massif is the watershed with the sources of the Lot and the Tarn squirting up out of their respective sides of the hills).

The Tarn gorge and surrounding limestone cauuses house a good few sites that are mostly aimed at the proper camping / PGL type activities but many are coming rounds to the idea of selling mobile homes. Great region, well worth a look for mobile home owners who want real France.
